Spring is upon us and if it is anything like this past winter I’m optimistic it will be a very nice one in Halifax.
For those of you who don’t know me I am a professional REALTOR® with Royal LePage Atlantic in their Halifax office. I am consistently striving to represent my clients with the utmost professionalism and diligence in the service level I provide.
The Halifax market has been strong so far in residential re-sale. There are many factors possibly contributing to this such as low interest rates, nice weather, increased demand and a lower number of active listings.
However, the main speculation of the increased demand is thought to be the Halifax Ship Building announcement. It is estimated for every two jobs created it will bring forward a demand for one home.
I see many fantastic things on the horizon for the Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM) in 2012 and I look forward to the many challenges it will bring.
